Chinese Flowering Chestnut /Xanthoceras Sorbifolium/

Leaves aromatic. Sun-lover, grows in well-drained, sufficiently moist, fertile soils. Only new plants can be replanted because they form a strong stalk root that should not be injured. Fruits are small nuts, sweet, edible. So far, it is still rarely grown in Latvia, but completely winter-hardy.
