Summer-green shrubs. Planted in the sun, partial shade or full shade. Udemanding in terms soil, loves moderately moist to moist, slightly acidic, moderately rich soil. Can also be planted near water bodies, as well as in places with high groundwater levels. Fast-growing, can be trimmed and used in hedges. Regularly pruned vigorously in the spring, thus promoting the formation of strong new shoots. It is the young shoots that stand out in winter with a variety of bright colors. If pruning is done only once in the spring, then the bush blooms with cream-colored flowers. The leaves are dark green with a white border. In spring, they stand out with small pink inclusions. Crown rounded, with red shoots.
