Up to 2 m tall shrub, leaves ovoid, 3-8 cm long, edges whole or sparsely toothed, hairy on the underside, flowers bell-shaped, pink on the outside, yellow on the inside. Blooms in May, June, fruits ripen in September. Unpretentious in terms of soil. Grows well in any garden soil. Sun-lover. Medium winter-hardy. A beautiful, abundantly flowering shrub.
