Decorative hawthorn, red-pink double-flowered flowers. Summer-green shrubs or small trees. Medium fast-growing. Grows better in drained, calcareous soils in a sunny place. Thorny species are used for impenetrable hedges. Easy to shape. Fruits brown-red. Foliage bright green, spread out, thorns 1.5cm.
