1.5 -2 m high shrub. In early spring (late March, April), purple, pink, fragrant flowers bloom on the bare branches. Only later do light green, long (up to 8 cm), inverted lanceolate leaves bloom, which later, like red fruits, stand out glamorously. Both full sun and a shady place are suitable, as long as the soil is moist enough and rich in humus.
