Low, up to 40 cm shrub with short, narrow, lanceolate, 1 to 2 cm long leaves, concentrated at the ends of the branches. Flowers fragrant, in bunches, small, carmine pink. Blooms in May, the fruits turn yellow-brown. Planted in the sun or in light shade, in permeable neutral soils. Winter hardiness is good. Stands out with a floral scent.
