Up to 30 m high tree with a slender conical crown and short gracefully curved branches. One of the most beautiful spruce species. Needles with a short blunt tip, dark shiny green on the top, with two white stripes on the underside. In the wild grows in narrow area in the Drina Valley in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
