Summer-green, 1-2 m tall shrub. Flowers from 6 to 12 in inflorescence, broad funnel-shaped, orange to salmon orange, with large dark orange spots. Blooms in late May, early June. The leaves are 8-10 cm long, turn reddish-brown in autumn. One of the most valuable and suitable rhododendrons for cultivation in Latvia. Excellent decorativeness.
